My favorite supporting actor who stole the whole movie has got to be non-other than Joe Pesci in Goodfellas. You can never get tired of watching that guy in that movie. Ever!

What Joe Pesci did on Goodfellas was simply surreal and, without a doubt, the character (and especially his acting) is a great example of a supporting actor who stole the show for himself.

Joe Pesci in Goodfellas is amazing. Michael Douglas also steals the movie in Wall Street, this is perhaps the most prominent case I can remember where someone steals almost the entire movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman does it every time he's on screen in a little comedy like Along Came Polly, or my favorite John Goodman in The Big Lebowski, completely hilarious.

You also remembered great actors and supporting characters that were very important to their respective movies, @filmspace.
