RE: Why Endgame Is Not The Best Marvel Movie Ever

in CineTV3 years ago

Well man, I guess you're not alone in thinking that. To me, Infinity War is much, much better than Endgame. In Infinity War the story takes its time to develop the actions and events correctly, all the characters have the time they deserve on the screen, Thanos was an incredible and well-constructed villain, he exceeded my expectations. The movie had funny moments (when the Guardians of the Galaxy meet the Avengers) and it had sad moments (when Gamora dies) and epic moments, like The Battle of Wakanda and the ending was terrifying.

Otherwise, Endgame looks like a movie where the directors aren't in full control of the project, they need to bring back all the characters for the final battle, and they don't find a better way than time travel, which is a great idea. but poorly executed. I'm not a picky viewer, but the mistakes in the movie were clear and impossible to deny.

I must say that the presentation of Captain Marvel for Endgame was very bad. A character with such power and potential cannot appear in this universe in the last movie, and has seen so little use.

Sort:

Hard to argue with any of that. A short summary would be that Endgame is a compilation of badly executed ideas that were actually great. Not all of them, of course.
