There are actors that nobody knows despite having played an important part in one or more films, not because their performance was bad, but because their faces are not visible and their place in the credits is not among the main ones.
This is the case of Kevin Peter Hall, who given his great stature 2 meters 20 centimeters, embodied two iconic characters in the seventh art such as Predator and Bigfoot.
He was a basketball star at Penn Hills High School3 and after graduating, towards the end of the 1970s, Hall played professionally for a year in the Venezuelan Special Basketball League at his position of defense, excelling at blocking.
He studied at George Washington University in the area of theater and his first film role was in the movie Prophecy in 1979, in 1987 he played Bigfoot in the movie Harry and the Hendersons and in 1986 he was selected by 20th Century Fox to replace the resigned Jean Claude Van Damme in the movie Predator.

With his enormous stature he gave life to the new creature created by Stan Winston, and also appeared uncharacterized in the final part as the astonished pilot of the rescue helicopter and repeated the role in 1990 in the second part of the film.
Thanks to his size he contributed to the appearance of the creature and was a major influence on the success of the franchise.
He played other later roles in some horror films but his career was skewed in 1991 by contracting HIV due to a blood transfusion he received as a result of a serious traffic accident, which later caused him to develop acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
He died in April of that year and it is paradoxical that his iconic roles were played by two monsters in which his face was not seen and which were never nominated for any award.
