After a very hot spell, we finally had a lot of rain with some thunder and lightning thrown in. It was very welcome!
We decided to take advantage of the cooler weather and go for a walk. Is there anyone else who loves corregated iron sheds/structures? The rustier the better!
There was a couple of comma butterflies lying on the leaves. One flew off but the other one couldn’t be bothered, so I managed to get a snap.
Part of the walk was on a public footpath that went through a farmer's field.
The farmer had lots of interesting things in the yard, sewing machine, belfast sink and a trolley. My parents had a sink like this when I was young. Everyone threw them out thinking they were old fashioned, but now they're quite trendy. You can get a lot of pots in these sinks and they look really cool and retro.
We ended our walk with a welcome cup of coffee, watching the sun come out.
