Today you are going to watch a video and listen very carefully to the story. While you listen you need to make notes of what you think is important.
After you are done watching, answer the questions. If you are done and there are answers that you are not sure about, go back and watch the video again.

Answer the following questions only once you are done watching. Answer the questions in full sentences and check your spelling

- What was found in the garden in the story Tia tells?
- Who would play in the garden?
- What building was in the far end of the garden and who use to live there?
- How did the children and the trees knew the giant was back?
- Was it a kind giant? How do you know this?
- What was the function of the wall he build?
- Why were the trees bare and what happened to the flowers?
- Why did the birds leave?
- How did the garden differ from the outside world and why was it still frozen when Spring came?
- How did the children enter the garden again?
- How do you know all the plants and animals were happy?
- Did the giant learn a lesson and what did he do to correct it?
- What did Tofu do after he heard the story?
Enrichment
- Once you are done answering your question correctly you can now watch the video again,but without the sound and now you will read the story out loud to yourself.
- Choose any 10 words from the story and use it in your own sentences. Also make sure you practice some spelling.
- Draw a picture of what you think a magical garden must look like. You can even have a look at the video and make your own 'fairy garden'.
