I started putting my thoughts and resources in writing a series of posts on how universities can be reimagined as decentralised autonomous organisations; in this framework, course certificates can be "minted" as NFTs, and courses can be "airdropped" to existing students who already own some "tokens" such as previous course certificates, grades, and marks and have completed courses.
As I was toying with this idea, I found that there are already papers and talks, and there is even an online university that has adopted these things. Hence I started a post:
