Is distance education ideal today?

in Education10 months ago

Greetings to all readers of this great platform, especially to those who make life within the great community of #Education, in this opportunity I want to talk about an educational situation that in particular I consider that I live it day by day, and this is directed to distance education, and how this can affect positively or negatively in the current education, taking into consideration how it is implemented in the particular case of Venezuela.

Education in the last decade has undergone a lot of changes, but the greatest of them is directed towards distance education, because with the constant evolution of technology and global changes in it, distance education has become one of the most used today, as it is a form of inclusion and to generate studies at different levels regardless of the place where you are, being able to access the studies.

On the other hand, not everything can be so good, because there is always a series of problems that this type of education generates, mainly taking into consideration the problem of access to the internet, taking into consideration the case of where I live, that not all sectors have access to it, and I would not consider it ideal for university education, because it is the basis for the rest of your life and you must observe things in the field and in the place to learn.

Taking this into consideration, it has really been a great challenge to be able to generate a quality education with this educational model, the subjects that deal with numbers become very complex to teach, and learning is not ideal, in many occasions due to the conditions, but personally I do not consider that even distance education can overcome face-to-face education.

As far as postgraduate education or 4th level education is concerned, things change a little, having a clear basis and academic development, being professional people who receive this education, really generates particular benefits and one can access studies even from other countries, with which we strengthen our knowledge and access to an education with lower economic costs, this is really beneficial.
