In this post we take a look at How to Use BIN2HEX Function in Google Sheets. Previously we looked at how to use the BIN2DEC function in Google Sheets. Previously we looked at how to convert the Binary values into the decimal values and also it would help with the conversion in variety of cases.
Where do we make use of the BIN2HEX function? You have say hex values in certain cells and you want to convert them into the binary or vice versa in that case you can make use of the specific set of the functions. So in this case I want to make binary into the hex. So I would explain how in this tutorial.
You can now take a look at the visual instruction of this tutorial through the video. Let's take a look at one of the tutorial where you can learn how to use BIN2HEX Function in Google Sheets.
First thing make sure to have some sample data for your spreadsheet. So create a new spreadsheet and have the sample data as explained in this examples below. I would be adding one image which would be used for the explaining the code specific to the sheet.
Let's say you have a number like below.
101111
and when you use the BIN2HEX on this you would get the formula.
=BIN2HEX(101111)
and now another number which I want to put with the formula here.
=BIN2HEX(101111, 5)
Another example where you can get the Hexadecimal value converted is as follows below.
=BIN2HEX(1111111110)
Now take a look at the below reference image if you want to keep it for a references.

That's all. You have now learned how to put up hexadecimal numbers into one of the columns and then convert them into the binary. Some of those you can use for the proper values being output in the result column. But it all depends on how you wish to experiment with them. You have to find out what to do with the values and how to use them for the proper conversion as well.
I hope this tutorial helps you a lot. I am making the tutorials and regularly posting them on the channel. You can click on the video above and then go to the channel and also check out the playlist. And once you do that make sure to like, share and subscribe so that you can regularly get notification of new videos. I hope my content helps you with work and and data for the office or the school homework.
I'll add more spreadsheet tutorial by the next week. :)
