To say that education is an indispensable means to enhance the development of our societies should not simply be a proposition. In fact, it is said that education is a favorable process that can nurture the growth and development of peoples, and even raise their aspirations in the competitive modern world.
The quality of education in Latin American countries can have a greater impact on economic development than the number of years of study per student; therefore, improving the level of student learning is the greatest educational challenge facing the region, which in recent years has shown significant progress in terms of access.
Education, and the education system in particular, needs an agreement to outline the path it will follow in the coming decades, regardless of who holds political power
This path requires changes in its structure, and must be focused on raising the level of education in all areas, together with a harmonious and balanced development between vocational training and university studies.

On the other hand, there is no doubt that education contributes to economic development. To find some key points that allow us to demarcate the value and the role it occupies among the explanatory factors of this development leads us to a review of economic history. In it we can find ourselves as a conditioning factor, capable of determining and clarifying "a part" of the historical elements that, in specific geographical environments, have distinguished the course of their economy.
Traditionally, we have heard that education constitutes a transport towards the integral formation of the human being, his training to be able to face the challenges that the world presents him.
To conclude, we say that this statement explains that education is linked to a process of cultural change that brings the subject up to date in various areas of knowledge. However, the role of education as an important catalyst for the economic development of the people must be taken into account.
