El ser humano como ser social tiene en la palabra la herramienta fundamental de su socialización, mediante ella se logra transmitir lo que siente, posee y anhela, al tiempo que se proyectan miedos e inseguridades. Por ello, comunicarnos es una necesidad que nos permite relacionarnos.
Siendo así, al ser toda comunicación, relación con el otro, es ella la que nos permite formar cultura para evolucionar y transformar todo, partiendo desde el pensamiento y llegando a la acción, en palabras de Ricardo Fumachi Romero

Es decir, que el hombre, en su naturaleza misma, es un ser comunicativo, donde su existencia en el mundo se origina y se mantiene por la comunicación, por cuanto le permite relacionarse con los demás. Esos que le acompañan, le escuchan, lo adversan, le recriminan y le exigen.
