Return To School After Lockdown

in Education4 years ago

250 000 students in Singapore are finally allowed to return to school after the lockdown on 2nd June 2020.

There were many new rules to follow since the cases of Covid-19 were still on the high side.

Nevertheless, most students were happy to see their classmates again.

It was really hard to get our students to have good social distance as they just do not know the importance of social distance to prevent the spread of virus.

Everyone needs to wear a mask unlike how it was before the lockdown since the law was only passed down during the lockdown period.

It was really hard to teach with the mask on. It was harder to breath too.

Schools had designated places for mask break for these students so that they would keep a good social distance from others with their masks down.

They had to take their temperature at home, before lesson starts and before school ends each day.

Regular cleaning of tables and chair were also done throughout the day and they were not allowed to play games that involved passing of objects or physical contact.

Many regular activities were no longer regular anymore but it was still better than getting confined at home.
