The design will not be perfect right away, we will know the advantages and disadvantages of the design we choose. So we have to do periodic reviews within a certain period of time. So that we can see the shortcomings and the advantages. Next, we can keep and remove whatever is good and lacking in the design.
This last paragraph is crucial. I think when we start out we need some sort of design to know where to start from, but this most certainly evolves over time and indeed as they age. I wonder how many homeschoolers can say that the design they started with is anything like they ended up doing. Perhaps this would be a good topic. 😁
