Learning Together to Decorate Tablecloths with Ecoprint Techniques

in Education6 months ago

Hello friends. Today I want to share information about the learning activities of students in my class in decorating tablecloths using the ecoprint method. Before I share stories about the activity, it's a good idea for me to share information about the ecoprint method which is part of fine art. Ecoprint is one of the fine arts with a technique of printing motifs on fabric using materials from plant parts, such as leaves, flowers or twigs. Here I share photos of the sequence of activities to decorate tablecloths using the ecoprint technique.

Before the activity began, my children were divided into several groups with the aim of training togetherness and cooperation. Each group consisted of 6 people to decorate a tablecloth made of cloth. They enthusiastically brought the necessary materials, namely a plain white tablecloth, clear plastic, various leaves, flowers and plant twigs. The equipment they brought was a hammer-like object made of wood with a smooth surface. All groups worked together on the school's ceremonial field.

They spread out a plain white tablecloth made of cloth. On the tablecloth they began to arrange leaves, flowers and twigs of plants and then using clear tape they attached the leaves to the fabric.

After being attached, they covered it with clear plastic and together they hit the leaves and flowers with a hammer until they were crushed and produced leaf, flower and twig prints on the fabric.

The clear plastic is then lifted and the crushed leaves and flowers are cleaned so that what is left is the motif of the leaves and flowers.

That's how they work together compactly to produce a work of art, namely a tablecloth printed with the ecoprint technique. This is the result of their work.

Thank you for stopping by my post this time. Hopefully it will be an inspiration in creating works of art.

This is an interesting post, much better than your other low effort posts. Why don't you spend more effort to produce good quality content like this instead of images of flowers and insects which have little value in Hive?

Thank you
I will try to be better

Sending you Ecency curation votes.😉

Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
