RE: SDG 4: Quality Education -- An Educator's Message for the Youth

in Education3 years ago

Excellent writing my friend.

As an educator I always looked for ways to deform professionals with ethics and commitment for their good and the good of our community. Unfortunately and situations in our countries that prevent us as teachers and children and adolescents to get ahead.

I speak to you in the specific case of Venezuela, a country devastated by a group of politicians who have been destroying this beautiful nation.

The education in this country is not affected by this problem, schools in bad conditions, universities totally ruined and a student payroll that is getting lower and lower, the future of Venezuela looks murky.

Yet we continue in this beautiful work....

Thank you, and I apologize for the late reply. As someone from the Philippines whose educational system also falls short from the standard due to systematic corruption, I can totally understand and relate.

There are days when it is really tempting to put in the towel and look for "greener pastures elsewhere", especially when I start doubting if being an educator is really my calling due to its tremendous responsibilities but here I still am, and still making the most of the rare bursts of inspiration I get from time to time.

I hope you stay inspired to continue in this noble calling, my friend.
