Una mirada a la sociedad de la información en la educación

Formamos parte de una sociedad dinámica que experimenta constantemente procesos de cambio, con transformaciones aceleradas y profundas, configuradas por redes integrales, de las que surgen tenazmente nuevos sistemas y entramados tecnológicos, con emergentes códigos y significados.
Es en estos contextos que la educación busca una mediación, que le exige sacudirse en su escenario para transmutarse en el sentido de su misión y su protagonismo en la sociedad de la información, con urgencia en la reorganización de sus estructuras y funcionamiento. Para lograr así su identidad en un horizonte de incertidumbre y de constantes procesos transformacionales, para trascender con reciprocidad a las dinámicas sociales y culturales que arbitran la acción formativa.
Las tecnologías de la información y comunicación, nos ofertan y nos sitúan en el relieve, una multiplicidad de discursos que compiten entre sí, así como una encrucijada de nuevas corrientes, que se adaptan y facilitan a esta nueva realidad. En este sentido, los procesos como fenómenos de globalización generan cambios favorables al influir en los sujetos actuantes.
En nuestra multidimensionalidad, todo es miscelánea e hibridación, vivimos en la heterogeneidad, donde a través de la globalización, comunidades disímiles pueden intercambiar en la atemporalidad, asumiendo así la diversidad y la disparidad, valorándose y apreciándose las singularidades, a través del uso de las nuevas tecnologías, para acercarnos los unos a los otros, promoviéndose otros contextos.
Nuestra educación en la sociedad del conocimiento debe prepararnos y fortificarnos para vivir en ella, enfrentándonos a la incertidumbre que la identifica y que sin duda requiere de un nuevo perfil docente en su formación y perfeccionamiento académico, con intensificación de funciones hacia el asesoramiento y apoyo, inventores de situaciones de aprendizaje como agentes de cambio.
En nuestros haberes educativos, brotan rápidamente nuevos lenguajes expresivos, con quiebra de la linealidad, con apertura a la pluralidad y a la innovación. Esto implica necesariamente la adecuación a nuevas exigencias, deconstruir viejos sistemas y construir nuevas formas de enseñanza-aprendizaje, con nacientes senderos de formación, en un aprender del hacer colaborativo.
El aprendizaje virtual facilita la interacción entre los actores del proceso educativo, porque es cooperativo, colaborativo y de reflexión conjunta, subyugando la distancia y el tiempo, erigiendo una sociedad crítica, analítica, intuitiva e innovadora, sin dejar de lado su base conceptual, su razón de ser. Rompe espacios y cerramientos estancos, aquí las aulas no tienen paredes, desaparece la exigencia presencial siendo sustituida por la representacional, lo sincrónico se transforma en multicrónico, sin separaciones de dentro y fuera.
Brotan escenarios educativos potentes y enérgicos, donde el pupitre y la pizarra adquieren nuevas representaciones en la virtualidad, en los que lo más novedoso es su ubicación: pueden ser portátiles, se puede acceder a ellos desde casa, desde la institución académica o desde cualquier otra ubicación física, por lo que siempre estarán disponibles para su uso, siempre estarán abiertos y utilizables.
Como docente depongo mi seguridad interna, establecida en ciertos patrones, amonesto las resistencias que puedan existir en mí y desaprendo, aprendo y reaprendo a través de estos nuevos significados. Afronto el desafío con emoción, consensuando, disfrutando y enriqueciéndome de estas colosales coyunturas. Y Usted, respetado profesor, ¿Cómo lo asume?

A look at the information society in education

We are part of a dynamic society constantly undergoing processes of change, with accelerated and profound transformations, shaped by integral networks, from which new systems and technological frameworks, with new codes and meanings, tenaciously emerge.
It is in these contexts that education seeks a mediation, which requires it to shake itself in its scenario to transmute itself in the sense of its mission and its protagonism in the information society, with urgency in the reorganization of its structures and its functioning. To achieve its identity in a horizon of uncertainty and constant transformational processes, to transcend with reciprocity to the social and cultural dynamics that arbitrate the formative action.
Information and communication technologies offer and highlight a multiplicity of competing discourses, as well as a crossroads of new currents that adapt and facilitate this new reality. In this sense, the processes as phenomena of globalization generate favorable changes by influencing the acting subjects.
In our multidimensionality, everything is miscellaneous and hybridization, we live in heterogeneity, where through globalization, dissimilar communities can exchange in timelessness, thus assuming diversity and disparity, valuing and appreciating singularities, through the use of new technologies, to bring us closer to each other, promoting other contexts.
Our education in the knowledge society must prepare and fortify us to live in it, facing the uncertainty that identifies it and undoubtedly requires a new teacher profile in their training and academic improvement with intensification of functions towards counseling and support, inventors of learning situations as agents of change.
In our educational heritage, new expressive languages are emerging, with a breakdown of linearity, with openness to plurality and innovation. This necessarily implies adapting to new demands, deconstructing old systems, and building new forms of teaching-learning, with emerging training paths, in a collaborative learning process.
Virtual learning facilitates interaction between the actors of the educational process, because it is cooperative, collaborative, and joint reflection, subjugating distance and time, erecting a critical, analytical, intuitive, and innovative society, without leaving aside its conceptual basis, its raison d'être. It breaks down spaces and watertight enclosures because here the classrooms have no walls, the face-to-face requirement disappears being replaced by the representational, and the synchronous is transformed into multichronic, without separations of inside and outside.
Powerful and energetic educational scenes emerge, where the desk and the blackboard take on new meanings in virtuality, in which the most novel thing is their location: they can be portable, they can be accessed from home, from the academic institution, or any other physical location, so they will always be available for use, they will always be open and usable.
As a teacher I depose my internal security, established in certain patterns, I admonish the resistances that may exist in me, and I unlearn, learn, and relearn through these new meanings. I face the challenge with emotion, reaching consensus, enjoying and enriching myself from these colossal junctures. And you, respected teacher, how do you assume it?
