Hello friends, I hope you are doing well. Welcome to my new post. Today I will discuss soil pollution in front of you. What do we usually understand by soil pollution? The process through which various essential nutrients in the soil are deficient and other unwanted substances are accumulated in the soil, due to which negative effects are seen in the organisms living on the soil. We can usually call it soil pollution. It is like this that the soil as it has been since the beginning of the world is changed by humans or other reasons.
There are different types of soil pollution. We usually know that for plants to grow, there must be various essential nutrients in the soil. But when these nutrients are not present, different types of plants cannot grow in the soil. Those plants are very small. Again, in many cases, they change.
One of the reasons for soil pollution is the erosion of the soil that is in highlands. We can usually say that there are different types of mountains from which the soil collapses and falls down and in different cases, river erosion is seen. These soils fall into the soil through water due to excess rain water, streams, river erosion, etc. The places where crops are mainly grown are filled with silt. As a result, it is seen that fertile soil is no longer there.
Currently, the biggest cause of soil pollution in our society is various types of solid waste. Especially around factories, the soils are in very bad condition. Various types of plastic, polythene, etc., mix with the soil and make the soil infertile. This can be seen that plants do not grow well in the surrounding soils. Especially if it is agricultural land, their condition deteriorates. Another reason for soil pollution is liquid solid waste. Various types of acid-alkali, etc., mix with the soil and make the soil very smelly. Crops do not grow well in the soil. The pH value of the soil becomes very low and sometimes very high.
