Of course, in shaping our rich history in all senses was of vital importance the teaching of reading and in this task the field of education plays a vital role, understanding what we read is perhaps one of the main reasons for the accumulation of various strategies over time in the educational field, from very young the first task of education is to teach us to read first in our native language and then if we wish in other languages.
Although for us reading represents an essential fact that leads us to the understanding of any aspect of life that surrounds us, however, it is important that beyond reading we can understand what we read, that is, develop a proper reading comprehension, which is why we must maintain a concentration on what is read and we must do it continuously.
Our main objective when reading is to understand the text that a certain author wants to transmit in each of his words, that is to say, that we can transform each of the letters that make up these words, which are accompanied by punctuation marks, into meaning.
Each of us sometimes read any text for information, however, over the years we adapt to a type of reading in relation to our taste or previous knowledge of a certain topic or theme, and this last feature, even though we find ourselves reading a complex text we can understand it because we like it and we are interested in continuing reading to deepen this knowledge and such aspects help us to have a better reading comprehension.
The development of proper reading skills can be affected by our attitude when reading, that is, if we show disinterest in what we read, we can hardly get a proper understanding of this reading, so it is important to always be ready to get the best benefit and knowledge of what we read, since in general each text allows us to obtain some learning.
