The Accounting Students Donate to Orphans |

Accounting Study Program and Accounting Student Association (Himatansi), Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Malikussaleh (Unimal) provides donations to orphans in two orphanages in Lhokseumawe City, Indonesia.

The sharing activity with the orphans was carried out at the Muhammadiyah orphanage and the Rahmania orphanage, Lhokseumawe City, Thursday (22/4/2021).

"The Accounting Study Program shares happiness with the children of the orphanage. The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings and giving alms to those in need is highly recommended, "said the Head of the Accounting Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business Unimal, Dr. Murhaban.

The event at the Rahmania orphanage took place at 15.00 and then continued to the Muhamadiyah Lhokseumawe orphanage. A number of donations and basic necessities were given to orphans and the orphanage administrators.

"Hopefully the modest funds from the lecturers and students of the Accounting Study Program can be useful for the younger siblings in the orphanage. Basically, part of the assets we own belongs to the poor, "said the Head of Himatansi, Andi Muhammad Syahputra.

The day before, Wednesday, April 24, 2021, the Accounting Study Program and Himatansi also held iftar together by implementing strict health protocols. The joint breaking the fast activity was attended by lecturers in the Accounting Study Program.***
