This drop-out law student, with no formal training in literature or writing, who once was made a living writing articles for newspapers, ended up one of the greatest writer of the 20th century and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982. His name: Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

This young African man with no formal aerospace engineering education or training launched a company with the ambitious goal of sending rockets to space. Astronauts and NASA lambasted him. Today, his company Space X pioneered the use of reusable rockets, sends astronauts for NASA to and from the International Space Station and is leading the race in landing man on Mars. His name: Elon Musk.

Sometimes, it is the outsiders - the people with nothing but passion, grit and a unique worldview - that come and blaze a new trail. If you an outsider in Tech, Literature, Medicine, Engineering, maybe it is on you that the salvation of mankind rests. Maybe you are the one that will carve a new path and show us a new way of seeing, feeling, being.

Don't allow your perceived lack of knowledge in a field to deter you. Teach yourself. Push yourself. Think outside the box.

Bless us with your genius. 🙏❤️
