Be ready for the 5th edition of the Hive Power Up Month!

in Hive Power2 years ago

As you may know, Power Up Month now takes place every month of the year.

The previous edition is coming to an end and the next one is ready to start, and each time we see more and more people trying to get their PUM badge and the Hive Power delegation that comes with it. But don't take it for granted as many of the participants of the previous editions have admitted how difficult this challenge was.

As mentioned in our previous article, our goal is to reward those who do regular power-ups rather than a single power-up like many users do for Power Up Day for example.

Let's go for another month!

May 1st is not only the Hive Power Up Day but also the start of a new Hive Power Up Month!

How to get the Power Up Month badge?

This new PUM challenge will start on the first day of the month and will last all month. Here are the rules:

For each day of the month, you will have 2 options:

Option 1:

  1. you publish a post and set the payout mode to 100% HIVE.
  2. Your post must generate a payout to be eligible (i.e. get a few upvotes)
  3. You can't set someone else as the beneficiary of your post. It is about powering up your account.
  4. You cannot upvote yourself

Using this option is also a good way to get the Monthly Author badge as well. ;)

Option 2:

  1. power up at least 1 HIVE.
  2. You cannot start a powerdown during the month.

This option is useful if have no idea what to write about someday or just aren't a blogger at all.

You can use either option, or both, and can switch from one to the other as the days go by.

HiveBuzz will use UTC date and time to validate post and powered-up dates. Therefore, check your timezone and convert your local time to UTC before doing so!

Strictly follow the above rules and this badge will be yours!

Additionally, you will also receive a Hive Power delegation upon successful completion of the challenge. The more badges you collect (Power Up Day, Power Up Helper and Power Up Month), the higher our delegation will be!

Both badges and delegations will be distributed after the end of the Power Up Month.

Be ready to Power Up!

We wish you good luck with the challenge @bombus

Thank you 😊

Let's keep on building and growing🍻

Best of luck for the May edition @ifarmgirl 👍🌹

Thank you💗 and will do my best💪

I participated in PUDs (Power Up Days) multiple times, but not in POMs (Power Up Months) so far. Probably I will give it a try in the next month (in May) by mixing the two available options.

I wish good luck and all the best to everyone.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Great stuff. Was just going to HPUD tomorrow and now I will get a badge too (hopefully)

Happy Hive PUD @pocketrocket. Give it a try to the Hive PUM too 😅

With HBD savings paying 20% I would expect a somewhat lighter participation. I got some Hive set aside for a very modest Power Up.

Yes, the HBD APR is really tempting. We will see how it affect the PUM.

Does option two means "powering up 1 HIVE per day"?

Yes, at least 1 HIVE 😉

Congratulations @hivebuzz! You received a personal badge!

You raised your Hive Power every day of the month! Enjoy better curation reward and more to say in governance.
Participate in the next Power Up month to get another one!

You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking
