The one-on-one chats on #PeakD Chat definitely needs improvement, as the chats there being encrypted end-to-end by the private posting key of the two Hive accounts talking take a lot of time to load, new messages being sent take a long time (roughly 15 seconds) to appear as sent, and received messages also take a long time to display. 🤯🤓

I think anyway that there are third-party apps (which have #Discord features such as voice/video calling and livestreaming) where people on Hive can securely and easily communicate, so there !INDEED is no need to "rush" the development of #PeakD Chat. 🧘‍♂️🤓

It's possible for a Hive dev (or preferably, a group of Hive devs) to get a FOSS app that is used for secure communication with voice/video calling feature, then allow people on Hive to log in their Hive accounts there so that they can securely communicate with other people on Hive (without the need of additional verification). 😎
