August 2025 Hive Power Growth
August was a big month for me in increasing my Hive Power. In January, I had 645 hive power. My goal was to achieve 1,000 HP by year's end. I reached that goal in May and started looking to my next milestone.
In August, I decided to double my hive power going from 1196 HP to 2541 HP at the end of the month. I did this by selling some of my Splinterlands cards, and assets from other Hive games such as Golem Overlord
For the September #hpud, I powered up 104 hive. The last few months I have been more active on Hive and am making more connections, which is a big reason I decided to double my HP in August.

I like to collect pictures of my monthly HP growth from the PeakD dashboard. Watching my progress on the graphs is one of the things that motivates me to keep growing my HP. As you can see, the August graph is skewed higher than previous months with the large increase this month.

I haven't set a new goal for my HP this year. It's quite possible that I will get to 5,000 HP. I'm still collecting Hive and HBD by selling gaming assets from Golem Overlord, converting earned SPS from staking, and selling other Splinterlands assets.
I've still got this swap.hive and swap.hbd in my wallet that I'm deciding what to do with.
