He's not alone, many prey on the negative speculations they give about not only BTC, it's, as you explained very dangerous for their business, some even invest in the same trades they try to ward people off, that's the sheer type of virtual businesses based on speculations, and that's why speculation was prohibited by the divine religions, somehow some of the religious clerics brought it back like how they twisted every other commandment to serve their interests and the interest of their demons.
