Pfizer is "wrong again"

Souce

Pfizer is on everyone's lips, because it has just admitted that it was wrong in one of its most important inventions, it has just abandoned the development of one of its drugs that was intended to compete with ozempic, the popular drug for type 2 diabetes.

The company has decided to withdraw this ozempic killer because they presented it that way because according to them it was going to be the one that was going to dethrone this drug for diabetes, theirs was the best, the name that this drug was going to have is unknown drug, but popularly it was already known as "the ozempic killer".

They discontinued it before it even hit the market, why millions were invested in the development of a product that claimed to be the Revolutionary, suddenly they decide to back off, are they trying to hide something new, or have just made a multi-million dollar miscalculation.

Pfizer has shelved a product that was touted as a direct challenge to ozempic, the diabetes drug from novo nordisk that is its pharmaceutical competitor, this drug ozempic generated sales worth more than $3.3 billion in just In 2020, imagine more than 3.3 billion.

Perhaps Pfizer is trying to be good, it is acting in good faith and they are deciding to take a drug off the market that they knew would not be good for us and so they decided to be good Samaritans and not harm the population anymore, and they voluntarily decided lose hundreds of millions of dollars in research.

It seems that this drug was taken down due to a case of scientific ambiguity the initial tests of the Pfizer drug showed promise which led them to have high expectations, to do a lot of publicity of what this drug was going to be, but nevertheless the results of the trials of phase 2, a crucial stage for the development of any medicine that, as you know beforehand, when certain events of the Chinese virus that we all know happened, did not carry out any of these phases, they launched it directly due to the "emergency degree".

Now with this drug they did and in phase 2 it did not meet expectations, so it was simply a case of premature hopes, passed on positive preliminary results or there was a deliberate attempt to hide the truth until the reality became undeniable.

This is given because despite the setbacks Pfizer remains one of the largest and most successful pharmaceutical companies in the world, with a market value of approximately 250 billion dollars as of 2022, its shares have fallen, the shares of Pfizer each share right now costs 36 dollars and 65 cents, but this has not been the only scandal that this pharmaceutical has had since in 2009 the company paid the largest fine in the history of the Department of Justice of the United States, it paid more $2.3 billion in an out-of-court settlement in a related case about their fraudulent business practices for the sale of some specific drugs were four drugs that they fraudulently promoted and accepted.

This latest situation is an echo of those dark days, this pfizer again playing fast and loose by the rules at the expense of the patients, something else is being hidden behind this decision.
