Yeah. I agree with your post 💯💯. I come from the same society as you and it is very common, infact, it is the norm for the man to make the first move for the relationship to begin. Most women would feel like it demeans their worth when they make the first move or that it makes the appear desperate or cheap and would rather give green lights or signs in order to get you to make the first move.
I think most of it come from our social culture and the way marriages are conducted 'round here. Men are the ones who ask women's hand in marriage and not the other way around, this culture must or should have influenced the mentality of women to think it must be this way even during courtship, to them making the first move should be as awkward as them asking a man's hand in marriage which is contrary to the way things are done traditionally.
I think women should learn to be okay with making the first move instead of sending out greenlights.
