Day 390. Russian tank waves attack. Last tank battle of human history.

in Deep Diveslast year

We are watching probably the greatest tank battle to ever happen in the 21st century and pretty much it's going to be the last tank battle that ever happens. I can only see tanks becoming a figurehead in the future.

Ukrainian forces have been in the middle of heavy fighting and have requested massive amounts of quick reaction forces and reinforcements. However the Russian offensive has once again self-destructed.

Ukrainian special forces units and especially the white wolves unit has been deployed. We are watching this situation deteriorate into an absolute slugfest with Russian forces taking phenomenal amounts of casualties and massive amount of equipment destruction happening on a daily basis. White wolves released a video of drone operations in the middle of the night being able to destroy 10 Russian armored vehicles which absolutely shuts down the entire idea that the Red army can conduct offensive operations in this area.

This absolutely has undermined the Red army ability to conduct offensive actions in this area. Basically any further advances are getting repelled.

While the Russians have been able to capture two hills and tactically hold The high ground they have proven that they cannot continue this entire offensive operation and it is grinding to a bloody halt.

Further south we have watched another minor breakthrough of the Red army and some small incremental gains. However this again comes at a massive cost that is looking like for every square kilometer Russian forces are going to have to expend upwards of 1,000 killed in action Red army soldiers. Basically this means that Russia will never be able to afford the cost to take the entirety of Ukraine. And it really looks like the idea that Russia is going to take over the Ukrainian country has officially died a bloody death. There is absolutely no way that the Russian military can take this country. It'd be like the United States trying to militarily invade texas. And exercise in futility is one way to describe this however a lot of people are describing this as complete and total insanity with the Russian forces continuing the insanity.

As we continue to watch Ukrainian reinforcements the shift to meet this interesting little counter attack. The Red army continues to throw more equipment and supplies into this mismanaged attempt at a combat advance.

However on the small scale we are actually finally watching Russian forces being able to get things straight and put together enough to be able to have at least a semi-successful advance. But we really don't see is Russian forces being able to sustain these operations or being able to conduct them on the larger scales that would be needed to have actual success in this conflict.
