I believe Trudeau looks at them as lesser beings, "they can't possibly understand what he has to do to secure his country." but the ends justify the means. He is most likely a narcissist and can NEVER be wrong which makes him a very useful (and dangerous) idiot.
It's just utterly ridiculous!
Gaslighting, is the only thing I can think of. They want us to lose our minds and are doing everything possible to make that happen. That's why it just seems so.... ridiculous and over the top.
