There are two isolated topics which the 28th Amendment could be all about.
I'm going to try to share with you a few articles relating to what those things may be.
I'm also going to share a few petitions you can sign.
I signed some of those petitions myself already.
The petitions deal with trying to get Congress to pass this new 28th Amendment.
If you Google for this amendment, you may get competing views.
LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUALITY REFORM
Some people are saying this amendment is fake or bad.
I'm just going to share a few links in this post for now.
You can check them out for more information.
According to LEER, the 28th Amendment is called the Law Enforcement Equality Reform Amendment.
The 28th Amendment could also be mostly about turning Congress, that is the senators, representatives, governors, and others, into citizens again.
In other words to remove their ability to get around laws which may not apply to Congress.
Because laws should apply equally to all Americans, even those who work in the government.
Because they should not be above the law.
While researching this topic, I got a little confused while trying to figure out if I was looking at two different things, that is one amendment idea relating to police officers and another one relating to Congress members and people who work in the government in general.
It could be that all the websites are talking about the same proposed amendment.
Based on what I'm reading, it looks like a good thing.
But there may be several different proposed amendments competing to become the 28th Amendment.
Some of these proposed amendments may have similar names.
Some of them may be all about gender equality which is not bad in and of itself.
But suffice to say, some of them are pushing for more government control over the people.
But as for me and my house, I'm for decentralizing power as much as possible.
