Never forget @valued-customer, the whole Ukrainian Army is NATO trained and armed, prepared to attack. It is not just one division – they are actual NATO Army. The greatest success of the colonial western ‘civilization’ is making others kill and die for the interests of the Empire.

You are factually correct. The plains of Poland aren't in the present scope of conflict and won't be until the Ukraine has been secured by Russia, at which point official NATO forces will be almost certainly deployed along the most defensible border between Europe and the RF. Poland is not unaware of this, IMHO, and seeks however it can to prevent that Russian advance.
The human tragedy and suffering is likely to be as prolonged as NATO can manage it.
