We currently live in a society where a co-worker can drop their bank debit card in your car, and then call the police and report their card stolen, and describe your vehicle.
Then you can be pulled over and searched and when the lost card is discovered, you will be taken by police and your automobile impounded. And they take your cell phone, so if you don't have any phone numbers memorized, or if the person you call doesn't happen to answer the phone, you're SOL.
You can be held "pending trial" for months and so they tell you, if you sign some papers they'll let you go home, I'm sure this is all a big misunderstanding.
But those papers happen to be a confession, and that allows a judge to make a summary judgement because you "confessed" there is NO TRIAL.
Then you spend 3 years under guard.
Now you can't even get a decent job because almost nobody will even consider hiring a convicted felon.
The current federal asset forfeiture laws were championed by JOE BIDEN.
Your PROPERTY can be confiscated by the state WITHOUT TRIAL.
THIS IS THE REAL PROBLEM.
THE POOR HAVE NO CIVIL RIGHTS.
AND THE POOR AND MIDDLECLASS ARE PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER.
YOU ARE GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.

What is RCV, I knew or was able to figure out all the other little alphabet things, but RCV is a mystery to me.
As for the rest of the post, I did not watch the videos, have seen plenty that cover the subjects, much of this has been going on since the 60's and most of the people under 40 likely think that the Black Panthers refer to the disney movie.

Okay now I know, nice in concept, I doubt it would make much difference in outcomes until people started to take the time to learn about the people they are voting for. As for myself, it is something I need to work on. It just does not make a lot of difference to me who wants to make the rules in the small town I live in, or really even in State politics. I will learn about the Federal Elections, and already know two of the people I will vote for, the others I am as yet undecided.
The only blanket votes I make are retention votes for judges, they always get a no vote.
Well, the key advantage would be in eliminating the grossly unfair PRIMARY voting system.
It also mitigates the "spoiler effect" of third party candidates in general elections.
I can see how that would work. It would go a long way to removing the two party system if Primaries were eliminated, and make it to where Third Party candidates are not spoilers but protectors of the system. How many Republicans, or Democrats would really be in office if their was no fear of third party candidates upsetting the current us and them model of governance?
