Ten thousands of farmers were protesting that day but imo if you have a country with 17,7 million residents thats still a small minority. My guess is that a few million will support the farmers but passively
The majority don't really care as long as if they can watch crapflix and can play on their Playstation.
I didnt hear about the referendum thing but if im correct our government banned referenda's a few years ago.
