It's much more accurate to use "predators" and "predator class" to describe these people and their actions towards us.

Yes that was the other word I was thinking of too.
I liked it more because it has a lowlife connotation, makes you think of a leach, flee or rat.
I chose predator because these people are active in their consumption of us. They herd us like, well like sheeple and actively farm us.
Not like a leach that just hops on as you pass by.
