WASHINGTON, DC (@ZENINEWS) — To understand how Operation Mockingbird functions it’s important to understand the function of the CIA and intelligence community in general. We often hold the mistaken concept that the CIA is made up of spies, working undercover much in the manner of James Bond. This is generally the work of “foreign assets” not the CIA agents themselves. The primary function, much like that of journalists themselves, is to shape public opinion, or social engineering if you will.

This is not to say that the CIA and other elements of the intelligence community are never involved in spying or the overthrow of governments, but for our purposes here we’re concerned with their shaping of public opinion and like with any journalist, information is their primary weapon.

The long and varied history of the use of intelligence dates back to the East India Company during the British Empire days when mercantilism was the preferred economic model. As important as military might was to the Empire, control of information was an equally integral means of controlling populations. It was during the Napoleonic Wars that the Rothschilds became involved. Their ability to move information quickly gave them an edge that they used to virtually control the British economy. By buying British bonds for pennies on the dollar during a panic and selling them for an enormous profit that gave them political power. They became the lending institution to kings and monarchs throughout Europe and intelligence is what gave them their edge.

It should come as no surprise that they used their intelligence apparatus to gain so much political power and use it to create MI-5 and MI-6, the intelligence apparatus of the crown, and the precursor to our CIA. The intelligence agencies of the FVEY (Five Eyes) countries — US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand are all adjuncts of the Rothschild intelligence diaspora as is Mossad in Israel which became Rothschild “property” due to the Balfour Declaration of 1917. OSS, America’s intel service during WWII that later became the CIA was/is an adjunct to MI-6. The public opinion-shaping done by the CIA and Mockingbird journalists is all itself shaped by NGOs, think tanks such as The Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), The Royal Institute for Foreign Affairs — the British equivalent of the CFR — and Tavistock Institute. Over the years these intelligence services and their attendant NGOs have fashioned a network, an intelligence “empire” in which information is the currency and social engineering is the purpose.

During the 1960s Tavistock Inst. gave us the Beatles and the CIA busied themselves with their LSD experiment involving Dr. Timothy Leary (funny isn’t it that everything seems to lead back to Harvard?) Harvard psychologist and CIA asset. This is all part of a mind control/social engineering program that has been going on for nearly a century — an experiment that intelligence services and journalism play a key role in, one that’s meant to usher in a New World Order.

Journalism 101

The relationship between the CIA and journalists was first revealed during the Church Committee hearings in the 1970s when Director Casey was asked if the CIA had assets at major news outlets, both print, and television. In perhaps his only honest piece of journalism, Carl Bernstein of Watergate fame wrote an expose that covered the relationship along with how the CIA functions as an organization.

“In 1953, Joseph Alsop, then one of America’s leading syndicated columnists, went to the Philippines to cover an election. He did not go because he was asked to do so by his syndicate. He did not go because he was asked to do so by the newspapers that printed his column. He went at the request of the CIA.”

“Alsop is one of more than 400 American journalists who in the past twenty‑five years have secretly carried out assignments for the Central Intelligence Agency, according to documents on file at CIA headquarters. Some of these journalists’ relationships with the Agency were tacit; some were explicit. There was cooperation, accommodation, and overlap. Journalists provided a full range of clandestine services—from simple intelligence gathering to serving as go‑betweens with spies in Communist countries.”1

Bernstein goes on to describe how the CIA operates, not as spies but more like administrators who develop foreign assets who do the actual spying on their behalf. Journalists played a key role in CIA operations. “In many instances, CIA documents show, journalists were engaged to perform tasks for the CIA with the consent of the management of America’s leading news organizations.”

“The history of the CIA’s involvement with the American press continues to be shrouded by an official policy of obfuscation and deception for the following principal reasons:

■ The use of journalists has been among the most productive means of intelligence‑gathering employed by the CIA. Although the Agency has cut back sharply on the use of reporters since 1973 primarily as a result of pressure from the media), some journalist‑operatives are still posted abroad.

■ Further investigation into the matter, CIA officials say, would inevitably reveal a series of embarrassing relationships in the 1950s and 1960s with some of the most powerful organizations and individuals in American journalism.”2

When Bernstein says some of the most powerful people in the business he isn’t kidding, they include:

“Among the executives who lent their cooperation to the Agency were William Paley of the Columbia Broadcasting System, Henry Luce of Time Inc., Arthur Hays Sulzberger of the New York Times, Barry Bingham Sr. of the Louisville Courier‑Journal, and James Copley of the Copley News Service. Other organizations which cooperated with the CIA include the American Broadcasting Company, the National Broadcasting Company, the Associated Press, United Press International, Reuters, Hearst Newspapers, Scripps‑Howard, Newsweek magazine, the Mutual Broadcasting System, the Miami Herald and the old Saturday Evening Post and New York Herald‑Tribune.”

“By far the most valuable of these associations, according to CIA officials, have been with the New York Times, CBS and Time Inc.”3

The purpose of this is, of course, opinion-shaping. Until recently when the MSM was exposed as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, the mass media were viewed with respect as purveyors of the unvarnished truth. Journalism was once a respected vocation and journalists were respected and held in high esteem, until exposed by alternative news sources for the scandalous ideologies they’ve become. Their relationship with the CIA helped to shatter that image. In the aftermath of the Church Committee hearings the CIA began scaling back its use of journalists — or that’s at least how the story goes.

“THE CIA’S USE OF JOURNALISTS CONTINUED VIRTUALLY unabated until 1973 when, in response to public disclosure that the Agency had secretly employed American reporters, William Colby began scaling down the program. In his public statements, Colby conveyed the impression that the use of journalists had been minimal and of limited importance to the Agency.”

“He then initiated a series of moves intended to convince the press, Congress and the public that the CIA had gotten out of the news business. But according to Agency officials, Colby had in fact thrown a protective net around his valuable intelligence in the journalistic community. He ordered his deputies to maintain Agency ties with its best journalist contacts while severing formal relationships with many regarded as inactive, relatively unproductive, or only marginally important. In reviewing Agency files to comply with Colby’s directive, officials found that many journalists had not performed useful functions for the CIA in years. Such relationships, perhaps as many as a hundred, were terminated between 1973 and 1976.”4

The fact is that they likely simply altered the way they did business a bit.

“Meanwhile, important CIA operatives who had been placed on the staff of some major newspaper and broadcast outlets were told to resign and become stringers or freelancers, thus enabling Colby to assure concerned editors that members of their staffs were not CIA employees. Colby also feared that some valuable stringer‑operatives might find their covers blown if scrutiny of the Agency’s ties with journalists continued. Some of these individuals were reassigned to jobs so‑called proprietary publications—foreign periodicals and broadcast outlets secretly funded and staffed by the CIA. Other journalists who had signed formal contracts with the CIA—making them employees of the Agency—were released from their contracts, and asked to continue working under less formal arrangements.”

The fact is that the relationship goes on to this day as does the social engineering experiment began decades ago. “Even though most Americans now realize that the mainstream media lies to them and uses propaganda to push the enslavement narrative of the ruling class elitists, most still consume it. Many others still know things aren’t right, but don’t use the critical thinking skills necessary to ever be free from their mental chains.”5

Problem – Reaction – Solution

The CIA and other intel services are behind the false narrative being pushed on behalf of the Deep State during the CV-19 “pandemic.” It’s important to remember when we talk about the Deep State, the globalists, the NWO cabal, or whatever name you attach to it, you’re essentially talking about the same entity — the Rothschild/Rockefeller diaspora run out of London and Washington DC. The CIA and their Mockingbird media allies are merely a subset — the information control mechanism — for the globalists. At the upper level the CFR/Tavistock Institute network has been pulling the strings for decades. The problem faced by the elites now is that they’re aware that we’re on to them.

One thing still working in their favor is that most people aren’t aware of how complex and far-reaching their network is. Everyone knows who the CIA is and many are aware of the CFR, but the network is so vast that it defies examination on a practical level. It includes corporations such as the Rand Corporation, which in turn are attached to universities and other think tanks. They are the ones that provide the Mockingbird media with the “facts” that they transmit on a daily basis. Contrary to what the Church Commission told us back in the 70s, the CIA is still in control of the media on behalf of their globalist masters — likely why there is little reported about them in the press even though they’re behind much of the “news” in the CV-19 outbreak.

“If you even remotely think that the mainstream media is not propaganda designed to alter your behavior and perception, check this out:”6

Fear has been one of the CIA’s most effective tools over the years. They’ve used it to topple governments and cause societies to crumble. Anyone that remembers the social chaos that followed the Kennedy assassination (likely a CIA op designed just for that purpose) will understand. Chaos is manufactured to elicit certain responses. The Kennedy assassination had a devastating effect on the American populace, it was referred to as the “day America lost her innocence.” Then Tavistock gave us the Beatles and America headed off in a different direction — a direction predetermined by the “puppet-masters.”

If you think about it, America was still reeling after JFK was shot when the Beatles came along (along with the rest of the “British invasion”). Their music wasn’t very good — songs like, `” “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” and “She Loves You (Yah, Yah, Yah)” were really atonal drivel compared to the harmonies of the Beach Boys and Motown. Yet the mass media pushed them nonstop, even going so far as to pay teenage girls $20 each to scream when they landed at the airport in NY.

It was all part of an orchestrated social engineering project that continues today. What resulted from “Beatlemania” was open drug use, LSD, the Vietnam War protests, etc. The puppet-masters used the Kennedy assassination to disrupt American society and then injected the counterculture of the Beatles and pop culture — these are all creations of Tavistock Institute. Now the same tactic is being used with the COVID-19 response — all orchestrated by the same cabal and implemented by the CIA and Mockingbird media.

“The mainstream News Media across the board (all of them) seem to be clearly under the control of an elite group of people (puppet-masters) in power (at levels above puppet governments in place) who are providing the narratives for media, which arguably are being employed to control the behavior of Americans using proven mind control methods based in well-designed propaganda that is broadly distributed to develop a ‘herd’ mentality. –ValueWalk”7

The New Normal

The CV-19 outbreak has decimated America’s strongest economy in recent history, created massive unemployment, media-generated fear, and hysteria — in other words a perfect opportunity for the globalists to impose their New World Order, the global control mechanism they’ve worked toward for centuries. The only thing necessary for their conquest is a compliant populace.

“This has become a grand war for the power of your mind. If the elitists control and enslave your mind, there is no need to control or enslave your body. You’ll be obedient and do what you’re told without fighting back and you will even tattle to the masters when other slaves refuse to comply any longer. This our path unless we change it now.”

“Operation Mockingbird isn’t a secret, but it is something the mainstream media doesn’t want you to focus on or even know about. Operation Mockingbird is a large-scale mind control program of the United States Central Intelligence Agency that began in the late 1940s. The CIA manipulated the news media for propaganda purposes in order to make sure the American public would willingly accept their slavery when the time came. It funded student and cultural organizations and magazines as front organizations.”8

There’s something that the CIA is well known for, at least in some circles — MKUltra mind control. The CIA has been experimenting with the human mind since at least the 1950s. Tavistock Institute, however, are the masters. They began just after WWI to study the effects of “battle fatigue” and “shell shock” (PTSD). What they learned was that trauma is a very powerful mind-shaping tool. They added to their repertoire the works of Sigmund Freud and his nephew Edward Bernays using propaganda to follow the trauma in shaping minds (public opinion). They now have it down to a science. Following a trauma like the Kennedy assassination or the fear from the CV-19 outbreak they bombard the target group — in this case all of America — with propaganda. Having had their reality shattered people are confused, grasping at straws, open to the propaganda.

“Fear is the best weapon of all great manipulators. It can move people to do anything, no matter how nonsensical it is. Take, for example, the COVID-19 scam. People are still terrified of a virus that even the government has admitted isn’t any worse than the flu. Why? Because the media, the government’s lapdog, is telling them they still need to be afraid. The elites have learned to manipulate the public’s emotions to their advantage. With global media corporations in place, controlled and operated BY the elite, they can amplify that fear quite easily. Turn on the news, open a newspaper and you’ll see this.”9

The CIA and the puppet-masters that control them have been using fear to control populations since their inception… that’s their primary purpose, not spying as many believe. They do spy, but mostly on target populations, and not to gain intelligence but to control populations. The MKUltra experiments saw some of the most despicable behavior toward other human beings imaginable — all for one purpose, to find more effective methods of controlling people. Now they’re applying what they learned to the CV-19 response and for the same purpose — control.

Very nice work @richq11. I've also touched upon the subject in Part 1 - PROPAGANDA of my 'Top 5 Mass Mind Control Techniques used by the Elite (5 Part Series)'. Here are a few excerpts from it that can supplement your post (including Carl Bernstein, as you also mentioned):

One of the best illustrations of how they have infiltrated the mass media is how the CIA have planted "assets" throughout the news media (no only in the United States, but around the world, and particularly in Europe; here is a prime example of how they operate as per one of their whistleblowers Udo Ulfkotte who explained their MO (Modus Operandi, or way of working) from an RT interview a few years back:

Listen to it! You will learn how they manipulate the news to create propaganda in its place to deceive the masses.

Also, former Washington Post star reporter penned a (highly detailed and sourced) wonderful piece a while back which appeared in Rolling Stone Magazine entitled THE CIA AND THE MEDIA which demonstrates the extent to which this nefarious spy agency has spread its tentacles across the news media spectrum to influence and help brainwash the masses into wars and other atrocities offer the decades.

Thanks! What I really would like to do is a post focusing on the history, from the East India Company, then the Rothschilds to the "company" (Cecil Rhodes) that was described by Conrad in Heart of Darkness. Then to how the think tanks/NGOs were integrated.

I was afraid if I got too wrapped up in that part the thing would have been as long as Bernstein's article (25,000 words). My publisher told me when I started 300-500 words... my articles are typically 2000-3000. I'm trying to learn brevity. (with very little luck)

I know exactly what you mean.

At first, for my current series expose, I thought I could fit it all in one post. But as I was typing it, I got to the beginning of the second part (the CDC) and the system told my I had already exceeded the allowable word count. Hence, I knew thenceforth I would have to segregate it into many parts.

Even in Part 6 on the Rockefellers (my longest part), I had to split it in two! LOL

I think we opt for lengthy instead of brevity because we want to make sure that everything we know of is exposed (and recorded for posterity) even though we risk losing eyeballs that have better things to do.

Bad habits die hard?
