I heard an expression the other day, strong back soft front. That's such a nice way to be in the world, but we often have stiff, strong, protective shells around our front and our hearts and bellies to protect ourselves. But we need to live with hearts open. Sometimes it takes us a long time to get there, right? But when we do - oh! Life is so much sweeter.
I can just see the younger, fiercer Aish. I'm glad you have moved towards softness, and not stayed in that state of fear and protectiveness.
