somehow, I suspect that even if this did manage to get to the guy - or anyone in government - they probably wouldn't give it any thought or take any of its immense wisdom to heart.
Granted, there surely are a few politicians in the fringes who actually get it.

We like to entertain the idea that the highest elected offices still have agency once elected as if they're still like you and me and have an ear to listen - they don't.
All their actions and words are dictated by public relations teams to be strictly inline with public policy. There's a possibility he's never even read his own letter.
So we write open letters to ghosts as a counter-theatre in an effort to show the world what is really going on.
