Their behavior and response to the pandemic has changed, yet their rhetoric and policies have not changed. We had a similar thing happen in California. The governor had an indoor dining party at a restaurant without masks when he personally banned indoor dining at restaurants. He also kept his winery business open, when every other winery business was deemed non essential.

Yes I saw that hypocrisy. Rules for thee but not for me. Politics of the new pseudo feudalism. It just goes to show how they don't actually think its a deadly threat that having a party would risk their lives, they are just deceivers.
