RE: More Questions around the Charlie Kirk Assassination | News roundup

in Deep Dives15 days ago

I watched a video that a guy took of the area immediately after the shooting, up to 40 minutes thereafter, and there was no immediate clearing of the area, at least not in totality. A lot of the students/ attendees had left but there was still sporadic groups of people hanging about despite someone advising them it was a crime scene and they had to move on. It's not like he was insistent about it. Despite a couple of what appeared to be uniformed officers or maybe college officers and what was said to be part of his security team lingering about, they didn't stop a guy from using the chair his was shot in to take down a security camera, take it over to a table, take something out of it and walk off. Actually for up to forty minutes, until what looked like maybe sheriffs came along, nobody did a thing to secure the crime scene. When the sheriff looking cops came along, they insisted everybody disperse, including the guy who recorded it all, but they never told him he had to hand over his video, or anyone else for that matter.

I don't have a time table on the cleaning of the scene, so looking for more clarity on that. But its hard to have an investigation now, I would expect of the scene if they want to entertain another shooter - which they might not want to . Either way - it is what it is.
Thanks!
