That cart would work well where I live. Many people have 'honor boxes' where farmers market their goods, woodcutters sell firewood, and even gift shops provide mementos to tourists. I could design a bot that could sell KFC in Baltimore, however. It would just need to be able to defend itself, and myriad mechanisms are potential for the purpose. No psychopath would be able to flip it over and steal the drumsticks if delivered a 240v shock at 20 amps, bathed in flames from bottles of propane and torches arranged around the perimeter to be able to point in all directions of the compass, or a roof mounted .50 BMG that could lay waste to an entire horde of thieves attacking en masse. In fact a few of those in select locations would probably reduce criminality in those locations quickly.

That is great that you still have a community that would work with a cart like that. That really shows a good place to be. That would be a litmus test, must be, to see if there is trust. Where I live, they would burn it to the grown most likely - just to see what the flames looked like. About Baltimore, lol, that sounds about right based upon what docos I have recently been watching on that place - there is one about the education system, ill have to plug it - about the cart - sounds like something from robot cop haha.
