About Labor - in NZ at the moment - there is a push by the current gov, who is no better than the last, to make a large issue out of gender bathrooms again - it is an issue, I agree - but they are magnifying it, so they don't have to talk about the vaccines. It is pretty plain really - sometimes I think back to my dad, who used to sit in his lazy boy chair and complain when the news came on - now I can understand why. Sometimes I wonder if it was always this bad; it's just within the group mind and social media we did not notice. Most likely not, because I guess the current issue in New Zealand, that everyone is talking about, is should men be able to go into women's bathrooms solely because they are wearing lipstick - that would have seemed insane in the past.
About women in trades - I second what you said - and when you look at it on average, women, who have a smaller lung capacity than men, i.e., 30% smaller - they will just not be able to compete in the physical space. On average. All these roles will probably be taken over by robots soon anyway lol.
About Dark Crystal - I have always been a fan of The Storyteller also. Henson did a lot of good work, in a time, when being original was rewarded.
About Apple reversing the video - someone did make a video just like that, and people did like it, because people like things lasting, that they have enjoyed - not smashed to pieces lol
