Regarding the metal grate, over the escape hatches (if that's what they are), that strikes me as possibly a security mechanism so no one can sneak into the escape hatch and work on entering the structure unseen. All of these appear to be factual descriptions of Epstein's operations from my reading of the released files. It would have been interesting to see how it responded. Would it have guessed it was Epstein? Would it have affirmed the egress window/vent utilities for the underground developed space?
