I think in the long run, they will fade a lot more - maybe not all together, but a lot of their power might wane - if we can move to systems that are not centralised - although the banks own all the politicians, so i dont know . Nearly all politicians, as far as I can tell are corrupt - the only ones that are not fully corrupt are like rare lighthouses but make little to any difference. They are more like symbols of a long dead society. The vast majority are nothing but professional psychopaths that build their fortunes on vampiring the collective blood and toil from the plebs they lie to daily. Hopefully all politicians are soon irrelevant - there is no reason why you even need them in this day and age- you could use a AI that the town/local body controls complete - you could have it represent you in matters of the local or national body - which are just mandated to them/AI via town hall or whatever - there is no need for any politician at all - the only part that needs the support of the people right now, is a party to install laws that protect community representation via group avatar - which could be audited and should be audited - and kept local i.e., in the town vault or whatever - hopefully classical politicians goes the way of My Space. Politicians are a major system error that needs to be patched. No society will ever reach any type of society that decreases human suffering with them in control, because they feed on suffering.
thanks!
Working within a system that strives to enslave people, they do little but slow the works, but also inform us of these works, and thereby do much to enable us to avoid being enslaved. Banks, politicians, and all centralization of wealth and power is being deprecated by the laws of physics, that today increase productivity through decentralizing production, deprecating dependence on centralization, both of overlords and their slaves.
That is absolutely the fact. I have often noted that Hive can serve as a means of governance free people can use to debate communal development, and even to fund it, enabling only those that voluntarily provide funding - and not any that do not - to create, manage, and maintain communal infrastructure. The only incapacitation of that utility is the DV, which can be inflicted on such voluntarist operations to prevent them. I would fork Hive and eliminat DV's were I intent on forming a voluntarist government using this technology, for that reason. Clearly individual governments would have specific needs to attain their specific purposes that would require forking the software to be able to customize it to serve those specific purposes.
Tech has advanced since the 18th Century. Back then the fastest means of communicating was the Pony Express. Now we can communicate securely using PGP on any text or email app instantly, and Hive adds the ability to fund mutual expenditures. Representatives were once necessary to facilitate governance. They are an impediment to it today.
