Here is what I find interesting, or is my observation - many of the same people that tried to subvert his 2016 presidency are the same people who are cheering him on and telling him how great he is doing now. That really is telling. So is the fact, when you think about - there is no major attacks in the MSM against him. There is just silence the last few months really.
apart from this - the surface narrative and what people are ask to believe, will be controlled largely by propaganda. Most people might start off knowing that Gabbard said that Iran did not have a nuke - even though she tried to rewrite history, even when there was a transcript - but over time, and hearing the country narrative over and over, they will come to believe that maybe Iran had one or was making one - even if it is untrue. Anyone with any counter narrative will be silenced.
My perception is a lot of his base have publicly left. A number of his base are saying they are voting democrat as a protest vote (there is a large anti war contingent). But we will see.

I really don't pay any attention to them, so I'll take your word for it. It is indeed telling, and terrible. People I know that supported Trump supported him because the enemedia hated him. They must be very conflicted right now, if they haven't either followed Trump into the camp of the enemy, or given up on Trump already.
I knew Trump was who he is, but I'm still utterly disappointed he has so slavishly served Israel. The image that comes to mind is Trump pushing in Satanyahu's chair. It's so blatantly obsequious, it seems to me he's really trying to engineer the perception that he is being blackmailed.
