About building your own routers etc., when we get to the printed circuit boards - or printers that can do this in the home arena - i.e., adding transistors etc., tracing etc., and all of that for basic home electronics or computer systems - it will be the wild west in a good way. True ability to make anything will be people's disposal. Surely that time is not far off. If people could print their own electronics for their own mesh networks - that is not telling how large it could get, like the mesh networks SNET type of system they had in Cuba. It could expand everywhere to make a big network for the main internet. People love privacy and freedom, so a natural circumventing - if the barrier to entry was low such as a printing device, seems like a normal thing to do.
About UK - yeah they will try again. It's only a matter of time. They need to stay vigilant on that issue. They need to bring back meetings at pubs or whatever they have over there - midnight by candle -
About Trump - it is evil, you are right about that. Right now it's like seeing a fox tear apart hens in a hen-house - it will be an education to people I think, worldwide - it seems every leader betrays - although Trump does it blatantly. Hopefully his base makes decisions accordingly not that I think he cares - he is in the hen house now and enjoys his meal.
