I think that's odd about them shutting down their nuclear power plants than opening back up their coal plants. Doesn't make a lot of sense. Just like here in Michigan there are shutting down Palisades Nuclear power plant while saying it will cause us to have major black outs this summer. Like you with the shoe thing I go all conspiracy on something like this now that you mentioned them shutting down so many in Germany....okay so they are transitioning the energy situation but why such a rush when everything isn't in place to complete the transition without causing shortages and costing people a fortune. Doesn't add up unless it's either about the tax revenues collected off profits or maybe bombs are going to start flying eventually. Since Palisades serves a huge part of the midwest, "Trump country" it gives you the jitters. I am just sayin' cause they've done lost their minds if you ask me and I wouldn't put anything past them, if you shut down the nuclear power plants you don't have to worry as much if you miscalculate and hit one of them.

Yeah, its strange alright in regarding the nuclear power plants and how in Germany they clearly need them to live - through winter - also Finland is similar in regarding wanting to go green - I don't have any problem with green energy, but there is nothing that can replace nuclear power - I talked to someone in new Zealand once who worked at a nuclear power plant over seas, I talked to him at a museum he was a tourist - he said the problem with nuclear power is producing too much power, never not enough - its way in new Zealand we can never have a plant at the moment because we would not be able to use all the power - I don't know, but that is what he said - but it is strange that counties would want less power than more - you get rolling blackouts and wreck your econmany - thanks!

I've been discussing that over on disqus the last few nights. I don't know if you are on disqus platform but I opened my comments back up after having to shut them down due to people stalking and harassing you because you changed who you support politically...not that I've gone left I just no longer support a certain individual. It's a drawn out discussion but the reality is is that if you create a demand or shortage of energy you make more profit, if there's a glut of energy you make less profit. The conversation centered basically around the shock and awe that Trump never made the US energy independent and as a matter of fact was using the countries national stockpile to saturate the market to appear we were and selling the oil at a higher profit margin. Which is exactly what Biden is doing now also. Maneuvering the stock pile to make exorbitant gains. I am not yet done discussing the issue, the next op up is going to be about how Trump was never against the Paris Agreement in the way that people think or even green energy for that matter, it was the US being left out as a major world player. People are going to see his true intent because it's undeniable his involvement convincing Germany to be a partner to their green transition by letting the US expand it's exports of LNG to Europe...which ultimately is only going to create a bigger demand on natural gas and spiraling out of control cost for the US consumer. We may get a pass this winter as prices have slumped due to a warmer spring than usual, so if suppliers stock up now we may be spared...but the winter after next all bets are off. They've done sold us down the river on our manufacturing base so it should come as no surprise our energy would be in line for them to make huge gains off. It even gets worse than that, ultimately they are building production facilities for energy in Africa, meaning over the next few years they are going to put the screws to high paying energy production jobs here in the US. Oil will be shipped to Africa for refining using slave labor over there.

People are so blinded by that butt hole it's unbelievable. Just like you try and ask them if they don't think it's odd that in January of 2020 he left one hundred million dollars set aside to bring in foreign degreed workers....and who exactly is it with degrees who lost their jobs refusing vaccination? Doctors and nurses. The governor of NY came right out and said they were going to replace nurses with nurses from foreign countries, I think she referenced the Philippines. I can't believe I fell for that stuff hook, line and sinker myself...but it happens.
