Currently the peace process is moving forward, Hamas has broken their end of the agreement several times already and, when they do, Israel strikes just the offenders, hitting just the people who broke it rather than the entire country. I really hope this holds and the region becomes stable.
They are currently battalions, or maybe something slightly less than battalions, of Hamas fighters hunkered down in tunnels under Gaza. They are refusing to come out and it would be suicide for the IDF to go in after them. I will get back to the tunnels in a bit. I'm not sure how they got the name Hamas, but the word "hamas" means literally violence in Hebrew and Aramaic, I'm not sure about Arabic which is the nationality of most Gazans.
I'm not going to go into any of the talking points in the news or details of the agreements, I'm going to go into God's plan which occurred late in The Exodus story around the time of Joshua.
Israel was supposed to clear the land, in some cases every man woman and child was to be killed. They work their way up through the land that God promised to Abraham city after city, in some places only the males were to be killed, in other places it was every man woman and child needed to be eliminated. This is not Hitler's plan, it's God's plan. Why would he want babies killed? That would make him worse than Pharaoh (when Moses was a baby) and Herod when he was trying to kill the prophesied 'King of Israel'.
You may be under the mistaken impression that these men, women and children were human. They weren't. Take Goliath and his brothers for example. They were not human. Angels procreating with human women was against God's plan and he wanted to undo that evil. That kind of thing is an abomination to God, not part of his creation, multiply, and fill the earth plan. A side note, look at what we are doing in the name of 'science' cloning body parts grown on the backs of rats. I saw a human ear growing on one. It made me shudder.
God wanted every single one of the half breeds (incidentally, they were eating humans for lunch) eliminated so they would nott be dominating humans and enslaving them or worse. Look at Goliath. He was the secret weapon for the Palastinians - oops - I mean Pelisheem (from the Hebrew), Philistines is what was written in the English Bible. He was threatening a whole army. He likely would have won it for them too. Along comes David. So goes the story of David and Goliath.

I think Goliath was one of those 'children' that Joshua and his fighters was supposed to eliminate. Having those monsters running around the earth seems to have really bothered God, so much so, that he trained a little boy by allowing him to be attacked by wild animals - which caused him to get really good with a sling.

I'm not saying that Gaza's fighters are mixed breed, non-human entities or anything like that, stay with me here. It goes deeper than today's Gaza.
When Joshua was fighting city after city, taking the land that God had promised to Israel, they were instructed how to treat each land that they came to for the above reasons. When they reached the one called Aza (Gaza), they failed to do what God asked them to do let some of the inhabitants live. A few decades later, a child had to fight a fifteen foot giant. Uhg...
Rumor has it that this abominable race of beings have been living in the very land where the Arabs (Palestinians) live, they stay underground and out of sight. The inhabitants of that land just so happen to be hell bent on eliminating every single Jew, from the river to the sea - Look at that line while reading a map. Yes, all Jews would have to be killed or flee for that sort of peace to occur.
If you look at local news stories, where you might find the truth if they put it out before told not to, you will see stories of Giants found in caves in Afganistan, and other places all over God's green earth. There are many photos of huge 'human' bones being found all over The United States too. You won't hear about that on CNN or any other government funded news sources. I am willing to bet that there is a remnant of those kinds of beings in caves or underground in Gaza. But will we be told about if they are found there?
His plan was to have humans multiply and fill the earth. His plan did not include them being modified in any way. They were modified before Noah and the flood. God took care of that too. I am certain that he will intervene when "the love of most grows cold" in our near future.
