What Is A Woman?

in Deep Dives2 years ago (edited)

A few years ago, this question would have been fairly simply to answer. I know that it is one that I feel confident answering, and yet I am sure that my opinion would offend some people. Because over the last two years especially, the definition of what a woman is, has changed.

It is now not appropriate to define a women by the fact that she has certain genitalia, now we are expected to recognise, that anyone who identifies as a woman, is a woman!

I consider myself a woman, a mother of 3 beautiful girls. But some believe, that I am damaging my children by continuing to identify them by the gender they were assigned by at birth.

I am all for people being allowed to live as they please, as long as they do not hurt others. I think that it is up to each person, adult person that is, how they choose to identify themselves.

Children on the other hand and teenagers, all go through stages were they feel confused and unhappy. Where they struggle to find their identity. It's important to let them go through this, to allow them to explore To explore things that will not have long lasting affects on them, because we all know that we can change our minds and we do not want to encourage our children to do something they may later regret.

I really feel strongly that we need to just allow children and teenagers to be just that, without influencing them or playing on their insecurities.

I watched the Documentary " What is a woman", earlier today. I had already seen different snippets of it and I was amazed how difficult it was for people today to define what it actually is to be a woman. I was also amazed at how some of the doctors, who are involved in gender reassignment, where claiming that the medication given to young people to help them transition, is risk free.

How can they say that, when the medication that they prescribe, has not been in production long enough, to deem it safe and effective. In reality, the young people who are taking this treatment, i.e hormone blockers, are guinea pigs. We have no idea what the long term effects are.

Matt Walsh, from the Daily Wire, does a brilliant job in this documentary travelling around America and even going to Africa to meet with a Maasai tribe, to try and understand what it means to be a woman in today's world. He interviews, medical professionals, professors , trans people and everyday people, who he meets on the streets.

His questions are simple, but they are also very triggering for some, which makes it all the more interesting. I was fascinated with his interview with Dr Miriam Grossman, a Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist and the opinions she shared and the history, especially when she discussed different experiments that were done on children in the past. Experiments that were deeply disturbing for the children, but yet deemed a success by the medical professions.

This is what a lot of science and medical history is built upon, the exploitation of humankind. Whats real sickening is that those teachings from the experiments are still used today. How can this be the basis for any real science, any real treatment?

Everyone should have the choice to decide how they live their lives, but that choice should be theirs alone, without any agenda or propaganda directed at them. I believe than any life altering changes, should only be made when you become an adult. It's normal for a teenager to be confused, moving through that confusion, is a part of growing up.

I would highly recommend everyone to watch this documentary, because I think it is very important that we educate ourselves and be aware of what our children are being exposed to. And also to recognise how dangerous it has now become to ask questions and why we must fight for that right, to fight for freedom of speech, especially when it comes to protecting our children. Nobody should be labelled Transphobic, just because they wish to know what a woman is.

The world is going mad and it is intentional. My wife is a woman, my daughters will become women. My son will become a man. None of them, myself included, can become the other. They could be something else, but not another man or woman.

What they are doing to children will be looked back up on as one of the darkest times in human history.

Yes it is a very dark time and so many are blind to it. Glad to see I am not alone in this. Thank you @rt395 xxxx
