Much has been detailed about Ghislaine Maxwell's long time partnership with convicted child sex offender and child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Maxwell actively recruited underaged victims and is alleged to have participated in the sexual abuse of young girls with Epstein. This has been exhaustively detailed by numerous investigative reporters such as Julie K. Brown for the Miami Herald and Whitney Webb formerly of Mint Press News and now reporting for The Last American Vagabond - @tlavagabond.
This post aims to focus primarily on Maxwell's ocean charity Terra Mar. After Epstein was arrested on charges related to sex trafficking for a second time in July 2019, Terra Mar was quickly shutdown. As a result, Terra Mar's website was also hastily removed in an effort to wipe away any information relating to Ghislaine Maxwell.
Since the release of Whitney Webb's epic series on Epstein and the uncovering of many of Epstein's relationships to a larger web of intelligence agencies and organized crime, more people have begun to realize the extent of the operation that powerful forces are trying to coverup.
One of the most intriguing revelations is that Epstein has been tied to intel agencies and there are numerous indications that this is true. As far back as the 1980s, Epstein has been quoted as telling associates of his that he worked for the CIA.
He also was bankrolled by Ohio billionaire Leslie Wexner, who inexplicably provided one of New York City's most expensive mansions to Epstein. Descriptions of the New York residence included a bathroom straight out of a spy novel.

Wexner not only financed Epstein, but he also donated $2.5 million to former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak's private intel firm Carbyne. Also a former head of Israeli intelligence, Barak is another primary figure identified in Epstein's black book.

Furthermore, the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell's father, Robert Maxwell, was a known Mossad and Israeli spy that epitomizes the depth of the story lurking below the surface that relates directly to the sexual blackmail operations in which Epstein was engaged in. In the 1950s and 60s, Robert Maxwell was being tracked and investigated by the FBI in connection suspecting he was involved with spying operations US nuclear secrets.

Before the organization shut its doors and was wiped from the internet, the Terra Mar Project was pitched as a crusading non-profit charity raising awareness for marine conservation founded by wealthy New York socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
The organization boasted support from the United Nations and had developed partnerships with dozens of environmental organizations, particularly those whose missions are protecting the Earth's oceans and marine life.
The Terra Mar Project's mission was primarily aimed at promoting "digital online awareness". The New York Post described the organization as "do-nothing charity" founded by Maxwell.
Observing the limited amount of information pertaining to the charity, we can determine that the organization was connected to the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) as well as organizations linked to Richard Branson. The organizations are loosely connected through a wide range of partnerships with other environmental and marine conservation NGOs.

Among the strongest relationships is with an organization named Global Partnership Forum, as it's CEO is also a former UN Chief Liaison for Partnerships, Amir Dossal. Ghislaine Maxwell was even introduced as a 'dear friend' by Amir Dossal at a UN conference where she spoke about Terra Mar and the importance of saving the world's oceans.

There are several takeaways from examining the charity's financial records.
- First, Terra Mar's actual fundraising activities are underwhelming, taking in on average about $20,000 usd per year.
- Second, the bulk of Terra Mar's assets are loans provided by Maxwell herself. Several large loans totalling about $550,000 usd were made by Maxwell to maintain the organization. The principal loan of $283,429, was recorded in the 2013 filing for 2012.
- Third, each of the filings state that Maxwell worked 60 hours per week on the project. Close friend, Ariadne Calvo-Platero clocked in with an average of 1 hour per week while other members of the board worked exactly 0 hours combined.
- Records show that Ghislaine's sister Christina Malina-Maxwell joined the board in 2016.

In 2016, Wikileaks released the emails of Hillary Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta. Some of the leaks most controversial discoveries involved a DC restaurant owner named James Alefantis, his outsized influence in DC, and the nature of his relationship with the Podesta brothers - John and Tony. Another of Terra Mar's board members appears to have some sort of connections with intelligence. His freight tracking business Cargo Metrics boasts Eric Schmidt as an investor in the company.
Cargo Metrics is primarily focus on vessel-tracking data that the company used to place bets in the financial markets. The company also holds a variety of patents relating to analyzing cargo flows and shipping optimization.
The compan website describes on of their patents as such:
The 2016 U.S. patent is for an “invention” that “provides a global strategic picture of commodity movements generated by tracking ships from satellite and other sources and then combining ship location and movement information with at least one other data set, such as vessel, port, cargo, weather are market data,” along with a time history of those data sets.
This passage alone is quite intriguing as if a company or organization was involved in tracking ship movement in real time by satellite, it would be a great advantage to smugglers and evading authorities.
Borgerson's Terra Mar bio also indicates that he was, for a time, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Cargo Metrics
Some very big names have backed the company. One of CargoMetrics’ investors is Eric Schmidt, former CEO and executive chairman of Google.
Other marquee investors include Howard Morgan, co-founder of quant investing giant Renaissance Technologies; famed hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones; Israeli shipping magnate Idan Ofer; shipping services leader Clarksons PLC; and Maersk Tankers.

Reports of a romantic connection between Maxwell and Borgerson surfaced in the months following Epstein's arrest. It was believed that Maxwell was hiding out at Borgerson's residence in Massachusetts. These rumours are unsubstantiated.
Borgerson was also worked in the US Coast Guard for four years and was a commanding officer from 1999-2001.
He’s currently a board member of Hivers and Strivers, “an Angel Investment Group focusing on early-stage investments to support start-up companies founded and run by graduates of the U.S. Military Academies.”

Jeffrey Epstein's brother, Mark Epstein, is also a board member at Humpty Dumpty Institute. Jeffrey Epstein, along with MC2 Models CEO Jean Luc Brunel, housed and paid the rent of hundreds of young models, at an apartment on 66th Street in Manhattan. Mark Epstein owns all of the apartments at the 301 East 66th Street address.

Appearing in the 2013 Financial filing as a secretary and director, we have the name Dana Burns. Some Epstein researchers have attempted to identify this individual but it has proven difficult. One researcher, has hypothesized that Dana Burns from Terra Mar is also Kimberley Burns, a young woman photographed with Jeffrey Epstein on several occasions. The name Dana Burns appears on several flight logs from 2005 aboard Epstein's private jet. Furthermore, Dana Burns is the name given as a contact for one of Ghislaine Maxwell's companies called EllMax.

Presently, Ghislaine Maxwell has not been seen in public since the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein on sex trafficking charges in the summer of 2019. The Terra Mar project was terminated and its website was quickly taken down.
While there are no smoking guns here, there are numerous connections to other organizations such as: the United Nations, the CFR, the Clinton Foundation, the US Coast Guard, shipping companies, Harvard University and connections to Israel. Additionally, we have the existence of a potential victim of Epstein as one of the charity's directors when it was founded. There is also the possibility that the organization was used to gain access to members of the UN or as another front company for Epstein's operations as has been documented by various sources.
There remain many unanswered questions surrounding the now defunct organization and the extent of the relationships between Maxwell, the trustees and the board of directors and if the charity existed for other purposes beyond altruism.
In a recent 2-to-1 decision, a panel of Florida judges has upheld the non-prosecution agreement that was made with former state attorney Alex Acosta. Under the deal, none of Epstein's co-conspirators could face prosecution in relation to Epstein's case in order to protect his powerful associates. The original plea deal was withheld from Epstein's victims. This incredible decision by the courts is yet another example of how the US justice system is failing the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, time and time again.
I think the quick termination and take-down of the Terra Mar project and it's website after the Epstein's arrest, speaks volumes in itself. Add in all the other connections that are interwoven between the socialite classes, the business world and throughout establishment organisations that you lay out here, and you have a pretty clear case for the justification of a much expanded and exhaustive investigation to continue the fight of having justice carried out for the exploitation of the victims over an extraordinarily long time. Not only the horrific sexual abuse that took place, but all of the organised crime and fraud as well.
It amazes me that some of these personalities and business/poltical elites are allowed to carry on with a business as usual approach by the incompetent media, and criminal investigators. If it was anyone else, they would have been taken down long ago, or at the very least lost their entire ability to do anything until a full and exhaustive investigation was complete.

The fact that there's SO MUCH evidence stacked up against Ghislaine Maxwell and she's still hasn't even been questioned by the FBI or law enforcement about her role in the trafficking, recruiting and procurement of underaged sex slaves is astonishing.
There really are different sets of laws for societies elite. Just like you commented, if this is an average joe-shmoe he/she would have been immediately apprehended and they would have thrown the the book at them, and the kitchen sink. The person's would be vilified throughout corporate media, but because it's one of their own... they just look the other way.
Terra Mar wanted to issue passports. There are at least 1 billion "undocumented" people in the world. The ability to create identity documents would be of enormous significance to human trafficking.
Ghislaine's licenses to operate submarines and underwater drones also seems important. We know for a fact traffickers use submarines for narcotics. Some of the new giga-yachts are including "moon pools", where a submarine can enter the hull of the ship undetected from the surface.

Yes, there was definitely more to the passport project, and I do remember reading something to the effect that they would issue these passports for citizens of the high-seas. Could have been a way for the trafficking network to step around visa/passport requirements. It seems possible considering Epstein pushed Jean Luc Brunel of MC2 models to straighten out visa issues faced by some of their models staying at the 301 East 66th apartment in NY.
Good point about Maxwell's submarine license! That's something that I was aware of but left out of this post. I think there were reports that she is also able to control underwater robots.
In terms of smuggling... it is a very interesting piece of information. I wasn't aware of the giga-yacht 'moon pools'. There more than a few people in their social circles that own super yachts, including Les Wexner.
As a side note, I think that Maxwell also has her helicopter pilots license as well. Both of these skills seem to fit hand and glove with espionage.

There are a number of connections to the United Nations through Terra Mar. So, I think it might be quite plausible that through TM's partnerships with UN philanthropic activities Epstein and Maxwell were looking to use Terra Mar as a vehicle to access UN staffers and affiliates.
I have done more research in this area, and I think that the UN was likely one of several organizations that were targeted.

Yeah, that was one of Terra Mar's projects. They had these, sorta, 'ocean passports' and they were promoting an idea of owning parts of the high-seas. Not many details on how that was suppose to work. I think the idea was that they would be stewards of the high-seas or something to that effect.
I think some of the people involved in the project were actually genuine and even Maxwell as far as being an ocean lover. Even some James Bond villains were cat lovers ;)
