RE: Observations about humans and some things we do. Comments on things maybe we should do instead.

I dunno why you were flagged, but tipped because that cannot be flagged away.

I keenly empathize with your observations. I have lit upon what appears to me to nominally surmount all the terrorism that confronts us, and terrorism is what confronts us. Causing fear in a population for a political purpose is the basic definition of terrorism I understand.

I have adopted non-financial economics as a fundamental mechanism to enable wealth accumulation that facilitates achieving necessary decentralization of the means of production that insulates me from dependency on centralized production. These are fairly fundamental mechanisms, and generally create independence from centralization of power, which is the vector from which all terrorist attacks seem to be coming. While independent means of production are generally considered to be individual enterprise, in truth they require community. We cannot prevail over centralized power as individuals, because we are part of communities, and must empower communities to be able to produce any goods or services today. Maybe someday that will change, but that's the situation on the ground today.

More importantly, I am not particularly interested in my personal prosperity or survival, but that of beneficial communities of people. It is the felicity of humanity I am interested in, and strive to achieve, and my personal felicity must depend on the felicity of such communities I am part of. This is the fundamental truth I have arrived at in my considerations.

Goodwill is very difficult for the mechanisms that have arisen to centralize wealth and power to disrupt. It can't be stolen, taxed, or profit middlemen. When I use goodwill to attain to independent means of production, and to transact for products and services, I am extremely well insulated from most direct attacks on my wealth. If there are better principles and mechanisms to strengthen local and dispersed communities I have not discovered them.

Thanks!
