God DAMN it, you're right. The early numbers out of China (Italy too) looked much worse, and the symptoms like sterility, dormancy in nerve cells, and lymphopenia are very different than the flu, and have impact later, so they don't figure in the CFR initially.
However, there hasn't seemed to be terrible illness stemming from the lymphopenia, and while sterility just isn't even mentioned by the enemedia, given that men in the West have been serially chemically castrated for the last 50 years anyway, that seems no reason to put the world under house arrest.
