Campbell's soup was ~$1/can, but after 2020 inflation rages. I can't find canned veg for under $1 anymore at all. I do throw some veg in a crock pot with a stick of butter, water, enough turmeric to turn everything yellow (to fight cancer), and some kielbasa sausage, and that does feed me for about a week. Your admiration of peas reminds me that Thos. Jefferson so loved peas he grew >50 varieties on his farm.

Every time I am called a conspiracy theorist I realize I am talking either to an NPC or a spook. Everyone else is a conspiracy theorist, because we need to be to avoid walking around with a bright yellow plastic tag in our ear like cattle. Also, you can recognize NPC's by the bright yellow tag in their ear.
I have tried living in cities, and did enjoy them at the time - for a while, because of the vibrant social life they availed - but not for long, and now I live in villages exclusively, and will move into the woods and sleep in a hollow log before I live in a city again.

I was surprised by those OnlyFan numbers - I can't believe it, but who knows these days. They seem too high - but I guess maybe its a different world these days. You are right about Feminism and what it has done to women and men - its amazing what the world is like these days. Anthologists will have a smorgasbord of things to study for years. Modernity is something else.
About the Campbells - I was surprised to see, having recently checked the powdered soup costs about as much as the canned soup does here - about the price you said above - but for one powdered soup packet - you used to get like five for that price. turning everything yellow makes sense I have heard great wonders about Turmeric, for plaque as well.
